A new poll sheds some light on which direction the Republican Party will turn as Obama starts the path down the road to European Socialism. Rasmussen asked Republicans, "Looking to the future, should the Republican Party become more like Bush, McCain, or Palin?" It seems the student has become the teacher, or something, because 55 percent chose Palin, while McCain garnered only 24 percent support. The response is not surprising, another way to ask the question would had been: Should the Republican party be more conservative or more liberal? That is the issue, the Republican Presidential Nominee in 2008 was too similar to Obama, they were both left of center, and McCain was too similar to Obama, thus the GOP lost the race.
Now fast forward to 2012 and the GOP puts a conservative candidate on the ballot like Sarah Palin, the GOP wins. The reason why is because America is still conservative red, and hey even Newt Gingrich is calling Sarah formidable and even has a chance in 2012. Four years is a long time in politics and it maybe even longer for Barack Obama, but the GOP needs to get to its conservative principles and roots to defeat Obama, and Sarah maybe the change GOP needs.
