GLOBAL WARMING UPDATE: BURGER KING SEES IT THE RIGHT WAY . . . GLOBAL WARMING IS BALONEY

 

THE WORLD IS NOT FLAT AND GLOBAL WARMING IS BALONEY

The word "whopper" means different things to different people, for instance if I say, "man, he told a whopper."  "Whopper" would be a big old lie.  For instance, if I say, "I had a whopper for lunch."  Well, most everyone in-tune to American culture would know I had a flame-broiled hamburger from Burger King.  Well the term "whopper" is a great term for "global warming", because "global warming" and the whole eco-movement to regulate carbon emissions (I am typing this while I hold my breath) is the battle cry of this generation that is the biggest whopper (Huge Lie) that elevates itself to when the majority of people in this world cried that, "the world was flat." 

A Burger King franchisee in Tennessee, the Mirable Investment Corporation (MIC) has put the term "whopper" into the global-warming debate.  The franchisee added a political statement and the truth about the global-warming debate.  The signs read "GLOBAL WARMING IS BALONEY."  The UK- Guardiancontacted the franchisee's marketing president John McNelis, who stated:

"I would think [Burger King] would run from any form of controversy kinda like cockroaches when the lights get turned on," said Mr McNelis. "I'm not aware of any direction that they gave the franchisee and I don't think they have the authority to do it."

McNelis added: "The [restaurant] management team can put the message up there if they want to. It is private property and here in the US we do have some rights. Notwithstanding a franchise agreement, I could load a Brinks vehicle with [rights] I've got so many of them. By the time the Burger King lawyers work out how to make that stick we'd be in the year 2020."

He continued: "Burger King can bluster all they want about what they can tell the franchisee to do, but we have free-speech rights in this country so I don't think there's any concerns."

Thank you, Burger King for standing-up against those who believe the world is flat, oh, I mean the world is hotter and we all are going to die because I breath and I drive a 5.7 V-8 Hemi.

GOING GREEN? DRINK A SHAMROCK SHAKE & SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT

DOING MY PART FOR THE ENVIRONMENT:

GOING GREEN BY HAVING A SHAMROCK SHAKE

February has turned into March, my clock is saving daylight one-hour at a time, March Madness is around the corner, Spring Break is here, and McDonald's is going green, SHAMROCK SHAKE GREEN.  

Shamrock Shakes hold a special place in my heart,  many years ago I used a McDonald's Shamrock Shake to defend my Mom's honor and authority against an older brother, I thought I was dead when I saw the look in my brother's eyes as the green shake oozed down his face, but I was spared to walk on this green earth to this day.

GOING GREEN, I love the environment, however environmentalists would see me as an enemy.  I want to be hip and cool like everybody who believes they are GOING GREEN, but I drive an SUV, a Hummer look-a-like the Jeep Commander, I do not recycle, I own five cars, on a typical outing to church, my family has been known to drive three cars to the same place.  I always drive the longest route to anywhere to make sure I waste more energy.  I litter and I burn real firewood.  I leave my lights on throughout my McMansion even when they are not needed.  I always flush my toilet three times just for good luck.  As for toilet paper, it is only the best for my family the plushest, softest, Charmin will do. 

I know the environmentalist are using the government to micromanage our lives and take away our liberty in the name of GOING GREEN.  Heck, they first attacked our toilets in the eighties and expanded the attack last year to incandescent lights and SUV's.  Now, they are going after our soul, the very fabric that is the difference between the USA and other Nations of the world.OUR TOILET PAPER   

I see through the lies of the environmentalist movement and propaganda of GOING GREEN, because the government is not the solution and should not micromanage and dictate what we should use to wipe our butts, the free markets should decide this issue and if people want to use recycled paper or leaves for that matter that is their free market choice, which is great.  GOING GREEN is just a tool to expand government intervention in our lives and it makes some people feel good.  As I reported before if you really want to go green adopt a BEDOUIN LIFESTYLE

that is the truth of GOING GREEN, in fact if you want an example closer to home, the AMISH have been GREEN for centuries.

Enough of this grandstanding and back to my original point, I GO GREEN every March, I go to McDonald's and I have a SHAMROCK SHAKE, in honor to my brother who withstood the SHAMROCK SHAKE ATTACK AT THE HAND OF THE AUTHOR OF THE INVISIBLE HAND way back in the 1970's when SCHWINN Sting-Ray was the #1 Bicycle and Converse Chuck Taylor's was THE basketball shoe and made in the USA.  After I finish the SHAMROCK SHAKE, I salute the McDonald's sign in honor of my brother, and I feel good about myself for GOING GREEN.
