Cash for Clunkers is Like the Government: NO MONEY

The Federal Government today suspended the "Cash for Clunkers" program for the simple reason, the bailout funds were not enough. The program was expected to last until November 1.

What will Obama do?

I am not sure, but an Iowa woman has a great idea, The Iowa woman is selling her TV's both of them, the reason she is tired of seeing Obama in her TV all the time.

Well, this woman has the right idea, you see the average American owns three TV's, personally at last count I have 7 TV's. So here is my idea, ( I personally can't stand Obama on my TV just like the little lady from Iowa) SO, I am going to join the bandwagon, I am going to sell all my TV's and the money I take in, I am going to donate to the "Cash for Clunkers" program, that way the Obama administration can continue this well received program and I can feel good about myself, because in a small way I helped the environment by getting a couple of gas guzzlers and carbon emission monsters off the road.

DIVINE DEED SUPERSEDES ALL OTHER CLAIMS

 In Jerusalem today Israelis held an anti-Obama rally and all this centers around the Land of Israel.  The issue involved is who has worthier title, if I was Israel's attorney, I would draft a letter that I viewed in Law School nearly 10 years ago, the letter maybe a hoax, but I can see an attorney drafting such a letter involving property:

A New Orleans lawyer sought an FHA loan for a client. He was told the loan would be granted if he could prove satisfactory title to a parcel of property being offered as collateral. The title to the property dated back to 1803, which took the Lawyer three months to track down. After sending the information to the FHA, he received the following reply:

(Actual letter from the FHA)

"Upon review of your letter adjoining your client's loan application, we
note that the request is supported by an Abstract of Title. While we
compliment the able manner in which you have prepared and presented the
application, we must point out that you have only cleared title to the
proposed collateral property back to 1803. Before final approval can be
accorded, it will be necessary to clear the title back to its origin."

Annoyed, the lawyer responded as follows (actual letter):

"Your letter regarding title in Case No. 189156 has been received. I note
that you wish to have title extended further than the 194 years covered by
the present application. I was unaware that any educated person in this
country, particularly those working in the property area, would not know
that Louisiana was purchased, by the U.S., from France in 1803, the year of
origin identified in our application. For the edification of uninformed FHA
bureaucrats, the title to the land prior to U.S. ownership was obtained from

France, which had acquired it by Right of Conquest from Spain. The land came
into the possession of Spain by Right of Discovery made in the year 1492 by
a sea captain named Christopher Columbus, who had been granted the privilege
of seeking a new route to India by the Spanish monarch, Isabella. The good
queen, Isabella, being a pious woman and almost as careful about titles as
the FHA, took the precaution of securing the blessing of the Pope before she
sold her jewels to finance Columbus' expedition. Now the Pope, as I'm sure
you may know, is the emissary of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and God,it is
commonly accepted, created this world. Therefore, I believe it is safe to
presume that God also made that part of the world called Louisiana.

God, therefore, would be the owner of origin and His origins date back, to
before the beginning of time, the world as we know it AND the FHA. I hope
you find God's original claim to be satisfactory.  

I end this post, God by DIVINE DEED transferred the land of Israel to Abraham (Genesis 12).  Abraham transferred to Isaac, Isaac to Jacob, Jacob who God changed his name to Israel at the Jabbok River divided the land to his 12 sons.  The land belongs to the Jewish Nation.

OBAMA HAS JUMPED THE SHARK

The inevitable has happened, Obama did away with TOTUS and went off the cuff to answer a question that resulted into a "BIG MESS" after that he put on a Fonzie Jacket and some water skis and yes, Obama did the one thing conservatives have been patiently anticipating, yes "Obama jumped the shark."

Interestingly, Leigh Scott in his post "Has Liberalism Jumped the Shark?' speaks to the fact Liberalism has jumped the shark, but we all know the poster child of Liberalism is Obama, and Leigh Scott sums it up very nicely:

"I say its (Obama) “jumped the shark” because, without a strong set of timeless principals to guide it, this political ideology (Obama) is a fad. It’s had a lot of great, good looking, and popular spokespeople (Obama). Last November it had an awesome ad campaign (one so good, Pepsi apparently felt the need to steal it). It’s all style and no substance.  And like the Spice Girls, Beany Babies, Cabbage Patch Kids, and the leisure suit it is destined to fade into obscurity."

The Bold (Obama's) were added by me to add the desired effect that the poster child of liberalism has in fact jumped the shark.  My only other addition is when Obama goes off TOTUS "Obama acts stupidly."  As for me, I am very happy about that.

Obama last night looked like a pharmaceutical salesman, trying to sale America on the half-priced Blue Pill but he forgot to mention the side effects.   Obama's Blue Pill may cause: 

Middle Class Tax Increase, Increased governmental deficit spending, Rationed Health Care, Prolonged wait times for non-emergency procedures, Denial of Treatment, Long lines in the emergency room, Inexperienced doctors and health care workers, and EVEN DEATH.

Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur when using OBAMA's BLUE PILL:

In today's press conference on Health care, President Obama says he wants to get rid of bad health care.
He gave us this an example:
"Blue Pill and a Red Pill"
Interesting choice of colors.
Especially taking into account that our President the Great Health Care Decider of "What Works and What Doesn't Work" says "If the Blue pill is half the price of the Red Pill, and the blue pill works just as well.." then he's gonna cut the red pill because no good.

Democrat Financial Consultant Widen: "Why yes we are in control of the government and I am here to help!!"

Caller:  "Well I owe the Chinese $750 billion, not only that, I owe Saudi Arabia and Japan about the same.  This year I am over spending what my income is by $1, 000,000,000,000, yes that is right $1 Trillion dollars.  On the bright-side I do have health care and all my friends think I am rich.  SO what should I do?"

Democrat Financial Consultant Biden:  "First, I want you to know, I am here to help, but you need to know one thing and that one thing is 'YOU HAVE TO SPEND MORE MONEY TO KEEP FROM GOING BANKRUPT.'  That one thing is the key to your financial prosperity, if you do that, all will be good."

Caller:  "You mean, I do not have to cut back, stop spending, pay down my debt, destroy all my credit accounts and pay as I go with cash?  Thank you Democrat Financial Help-Line for saving me, I am just going to spend, spend, and spend.

The call never took place, but is an illustration of the stupidity of the financial strategy of those who are in control, THE DEMOCRATS.  I am sorry to say, the USA is already bankrupt, what we are living on is a false sense of security and a devalued dollar that will be further devalued in the months and year to come, because spending is not the cure to our financial catastrophe, but sound economic values and principles.  First and foremost principle is to freeze all government spending and then cut.

Biden's Teleprompter was waiting in the wings to assume the duty of TOTUS, I am glad TOTUS is here and ready to assume his presidential duties as TOTUS.

THE JOKE OF THE DAY: OBAMA'S BELIEF THAT THE STIMULUS PACKAGE "WORKED AS INTENDED"

I find it very strange like an episode of "Twilight Zone" Obama continues his political newspeak.  I heard the words, I read the words, I meditated on the words, Obama said the Stimulus package "worked as intended."  But I laughed and laughed and laughed, I even laughed because I felt sorry for our delusional President, does he really believe what he says or does he even know what he says, or is he like the emperor with his new clothes, his staff and trusted advisers have convinced him he is actually wearing the grandest outfit fit for the richest King, even though he is wearing nothing at all.  Whatever the truth is, Obama is wrong and Roger L. Simon captures the truth in his post (Here in its entirety):

Cantor rises as Obama falls

Many of us remember the immortal words of the late, great Leroy Robert “Satchel” Paige: “and don’t look back - something might be gaining on you.” He was referring to longevity, of course, but it might as well have been political longevity, which can be considerably more fragile than even our own fragile life spans.

The “something” that might be gaining on Barack Obama these days is a fellow named Eric Cantor, the minority whip. He seems to be the most articulate spokesman for what are increasingly obvious truths - that Obama’s “stimulus” plan is a misfire or maybe worse, a drastic mistake. Cantor recently said the stimulus bill was “full of pork- barrel spending, government waste and massive borrowing cleverly called ‘stimulus.’ The plain truth is that President Obama’s economic decisions have not produced jobs, have not produced prosperity, and have not worked.”

One look around us and it’s hard to deny that. The stock market these days would seem to be agreeing with Cantor too. Meanwhile, Obama is now trying to reassure us by insisting his $787 billion stimulus bill “has worked as intended.”

Intended?! That’s sort of like saying Andy Roddick blew two sets to Roger Federer to set up Roger for the fifth. It transcends “spin” and goes into the realm of outright BS. It’s interesting to see Bloomberg picking up on the “worked as intended” line in their lead, apparently reacting to what we might politely call its disingenuousness as well - another break in the media dikes.

As for Cantor, is the Virginia congressman the standard bearer the Republicans have been looking for? Way too early to tell obviously, but he does not seem to have the problem - let’s call it a media-emphasized information gap - that, alas, Palin has for now. But, ironically, the very accuracy of what Cantor is saying at this moment may come back to bite him in 2012. My (admittedly blind) guess is that the Republicans will come back strong in 2010, placing most of Obama’s plans (stimulus, tax, health care, etc.) in eternal gridlock. This in turn will cause the economy and the stock market to bounce back. The country will be happy again and ready to reelect Obama. Just one scenario, folks, crazy as it seems. [Isn't that Clinton's story, in a way?-ed. What did Harry Truman say? "If you're looking for justice in Washington, get a dog." That was a "friend." Oh, right.]
