I find it very strange like an episode of "Twilight Zone" Obama continues his political newspeak.  I heard the words, I read the words, I meditated on the words, Obama said the Stimulus package "worked as intended."  But I laughed and laughed and laughed, I even laughed because I felt sorry for our delusional President, does he really believe what he says or does he even know what he says, or is he like the emperor with his new clothes, his staff and trusted advisers have convinced him he is actually wearing the grandest outfit fit for the richest King, even though he is wearing nothing at all.  Whatever the truth is, Obama is wrong and Roger L. Simon captures the truth in his post (Here in its entirety):

Cantor rises as Obama falls

Many of us remember the immortal words of the late, great Leroy Robert “Satchel” Paige: “and don’t look back - something might be gaining on you.” He was referring to longevity, of course, but it might as well have been political longevity, which can be considerably more fragile than even our own fragile life spans.

The “something” that might be gaining on Barack Obama these days is a fellow named Eric Cantor, the minority whip. He seems to be the most articulate spokesman for what are increasingly obvious truths - that Obama’s “stimulus” plan is a misfire or maybe worse, a drastic mistake. Cantor recently said the stimulus bill was “full of pork- barrel spending, government waste and massive borrowing cleverly called ‘stimulus.’ The plain truth is that President Obama’s economic decisions have not produced jobs, have not produced prosperity, and have not worked.”

One look around us and it’s hard to deny that. The stock market these days would seem to be agreeing with Cantor too. Meanwhile, Obama is now trying to reassure us by insisting his $787 billion stimulus bill “has worked as intended.”

Intended?! That’s sort of like saying Andy Roddick blew two sets to Roger Federer to set up Roger for the fifth. It transcends “spin” and goes into the realm of outright BS. It’s interesting to see Bloomberg picking up on the “worked as intended” line in their lead, apparently reacting to what we might politely call its disingenuousness as well - another break in the media dikes.

As for Cantor, is the Virginia congressman the standard bearer the Republicans have been looking for? Way too early to tell obviously, but he does not seem to have the problem - let’s call it a media-emphasized information gap - that, alas, Palin has for now. But, ironically, the very accuracy of what Cantor is saying at this moment may come back to bite him in 2012. My (admittedly blind) guess is that the Republicans will come back strong in 2010, placing most of Obama’s plans (stimulus, tax, health care, etc.) in eternal gridlock. This in turn will cause the economy and the stock market to bounce back. The country will be happy again and ready to reelect Obama. Just one scenario, folks, crazy as it seems. [Isn't that Clinton's story, in a way?-ed. What did Harry Truman say? "If you're looking for justice in Washington, get a dog." That was a "friend." Oh, right.]

"OBAMA'S NEWSPEAK DIAMETRICALLY OPPOSED TO REALITY"

Jennifer Rubin has a spot-on piece titled, "When Political Spin and Economic Realities Collide."  In her post, she writes about “two Americas” — a political one (then still fully enthralled with Barack Obama) and an economic one (already struggling with worsening unemployment and a downward spiral in investor and consumer confidence). 

Eventually the two realms — economic and political — will collide. As elections draw near politicians on both sides and the MSM political coverage become very interested all of a sudden in the CPI, the Dow Jones, the trade deficit, and other financial indicators of our economic health.

She further goes on to state that the collision has taken place and the proof is in the President's poll numbers:

Rasmussen shows just how dramatic a change we have seen:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 30% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Thirty-eight percent (38%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -8.  … Thirty-nine percent (39%) now give the president good or excellent marks for handling the economy while 43% say he is doing a poor job. Those are by far his lowest ratings yet on the economy. … Overall, 51% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president’s performance so far. Forty-eight percent (48%) now disapprove.

And the reason Obama's political fantasy is fragmenting is because reality is factual and the economic facts cannot be ignored, Obama's spending is doing nothing to thwart the downward spiraling of the USA's economy.  Jennifer Rubin continues here analysis stating, "not even the New York Times can ignore the economic reality and its impact on the public’s assessment of the president’s performance:

With unemployment already at 9.5 percent and likely to exceed 10 percent, much higher than White House officials predicted back in February, Mr. Obama has been facing attacks that his $787 billion stimulus program was either too timid or wrong-headed or both. Now, just five months after Congress agreed on the plan, with only a fraction of the money actually out the door, Washington is debating the need for a second round of stimulus amid economic and political crosscurrents."

Jon Stewart has even started to lose optimism in President Obama with his, "That's Great Now Fix the Economy:'

In reading the article on AP, "Conservative Democrats BREAK RANKS ON HEALTH CARE" Obama was quoted saying that if Congress does not act on Health Care Reform by August 1, "I never believe anything is do or die."  In the words of John Stossel, "Give Me a Break."  Everything about this President the Grim Reaper has been DO OR DIE.  Lets take a look:

1) Obama Stimulus Package;  

Obama, "If we do not pass this Stimulus package now, all jobs will be lost and the world shall end."

2) Fiats purchase of Chrysler;

Obama, "If this does not happen Chrysler shall die."

3) Government Takeover of GM with quick Bankruptcy;

Obama, "If the government does not seize control of GM, GM will not exist in the future."

4) CAP & TRADE;

Obama, "If the United States does not cut carbon emissions by half, the world will die and we shall no longer exist."

5) Health Care Reform;

Obama, "If my health care reform does not go into effect, Americans will die.'

6) Stimulus Package II (The Sequel coming SOON);

Obama, "If there is not a second stimulus package, we will all die."

7) Obama's Budget;

Obama, "If my budget is not approved, we shall all surely die."

I could go on and on and on, but guess what?  You got the point, and Obama is always playing fast and loose with his teleprompter, Obama as you know, it is all DO or DIE, because Obama is like the Grim Reaper, Obama is like the Raven, NEVERMORE, NEVERMORE, NEVERMORE.

WHY OBAMA IS A HONKY TONK BADONKADONK MAN?

"Badonkadonk"  is a word I learned well ahead of Trace Adkins country hit "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" because I taught two years in an urban school in Kansas City, Kansas.  "Badonkadonk" is a great word that once you know the meaning, the word visualizes the meaning.  

President Obama has the eye for the "Badonkadonk" the proof is in the pictures, just be careful little president's eyes what you see, it may be front page internet news within minutes.

DISNEY DEBUTS OBAMA AT HALL OF PRESIDENTS at MAGIC KINGDOM, BUT SOMETHING IS MISSING

"DISNEY GOOFS, WHAT IS MISSING?"

Barack Hussein Obama debuts this week, at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom in Liberty Square at the Disney classic attraction "Hall of Presidents."  The attraction designed by Walt Disney before his death, features life-like audio-animatronics and now the stage includes Barack Obama.  There is only one problem with the new attraction, DISNEY GOOFED, they forgot the most important part of President Obama, HIS TELEPROMPTER.  What is POTUS without TOTUS?   I tried to contact TOTUS for a comment, but it being the Fourth of July weekend, TOTUS is very busy with POTUS.

This is what I think TOTUS would say:  "Disney imagineers really messed-up BIG TIME,  this is like creating Lincoln without the beard, or George Washington without his wig.  POTUS is not completely all there, in fact, without TOTUS in the "Hall of Presidents,"  it is like, Walt Disney without Mickey Mouse."   

TOTUS is right, Disney really blew their research and their historical accuracy.  In fact, while they recorded the sound at the White House with Obama, Eric Jacobson an Imagineer for Disney stated, "What is so great about every Disney endeavor we are such sticklers for attention to detail, so everything about this show is accurate for all the men (presidents) on this stage, so that they are believable and life-like."  Well, Mr. Eric Jacobson, DISNEY GOT IT WRONG, you do not have a OBAMA without his TOTUS.

Here is a side-note, from the video of "Behind the Scenes:  President Obama & Disney's Hall of Presidents" that was brought to my attention by Peter Hartlaub's post, Our President Knows Nothing About the Hall of Presidents, in the video, "there were several interesting moments, but the following question from Obama about the animatronic presidents really surprised me. (He was talking to the Disney people in the room.)

"Are these like wax figures or holograms? ... They're robots. Oh, that's kind of cool."

What the hell? Has Obama even been to Disneyland Disney World?

It's hard to imagine that on the election trail Barack Obama didn't once think "Holy crap! If I win this thing I'm going to be in the Hall of Presidents! I just hope they build me better than Lincoln."

POTUS is in the Disney's "Hall of Presidents," but, without his most important feature TOTUS.  Maybe, Obama, will get a free trip to Disney World's Magic Kingdom, so he can actually experience the "Hall of Presidents." -LEX REX

PREPARES FOR HONOLULU FIREWORK SPECTACULAR

July Fourth is fast approaching, if you have not made plans for USA's Independence Celebration, I am letting you in on the Firework display of the century.   Master FIreworks dictator Kim Jong-Il is getting ready to celebrate the USA's birthday with a display that has not been seen since USA tested nuclear bombs on Bikini atoll in Operation Castle on March 1, 1954.  But Dr. Kim is  promising just a breathtaking display as the Bikini atoll spectacular in 1954.  In fact, Dr. Kim tested four short range missiles today in preparation of the be all and end all firework spectacular in Hawaii.  

Myself being a recent traveler to Obama Land, I wanted to give those who are considering the trek to Honolulu, Hawaii the best location to view Kim Jong-Il's Firework Spectacular.  The best vantage point is Diamond Head.  It is a little known fact that you can actually hike Diamond Head.  Do not fret, the hike up will take around an hour, unless you look like me, than 1.5 hours.  The hike is .7 miles and at the summit you are 760 feet above sea level.  The trail is unpaved, uneven, and rocks may be loose and slippery in places.  There is a 225 foot unlit tunnel you must ascend that involves part of 271 steps that you must climb to get to the summit, you must also climb a spiral staircase inside an unlit bunker.  The hike is classified easy to moderate, but once on top the view is majestic, take my word and I offer a picture as proof:

This is the vantage point to watch North Korea's July 4th Fireworks Spectacular Over Hawaii.  This is the best place to be to take it all in.  Guess what?  if things do go haywire and Dr. Kim goes a little crazy, you also have several bunkers at your disposal.  If you want to do it right book a Hawaiian Air flight today and make sure your on the summit of Diamond Head to view the show.  Here, is a preview of the fireworks Kim Jong-Il has in his arsenal to make sure that it is the be all to end all fireworks show.  행복은 7월 4일 !!!!! A look at North Korea's missile arsenal:

TAEPODONG: This group of rockets is the pinnacle of North Korea's missile technology. Pyongyang claims they are space launch vehicles (SLVs) to launch satellites as part of a peaceful space program. Satellite and missile technologies are interchangeable.

ADVANCED TAEPODONG-2: Under development. Potential range: about 5,000 miles (8,000 kilometers), putting the U.S. west coast, Hawaii, Australia and eastern Europe within striking distance.

TAEPODONG-2: Three-stage rocket with potential range of more than 4,100 miles (6,700 kilometers), putting Alaska within striking distance. First two stages are liquid-fueled, while the third is believed to be solid-fueled. Iranian engineers are thought to have observed a 2006 launch that fizzled soon after liftoff. Cooperation with Iran has been extensive; Iran's Safir-Omid space launch vehicle owes much to the Taepodong.

TAEPODONG-1: Estimated range of 1,550 miles (2,500 kilometers), twice as far as earlier Rodong missile, according to South Korea. North is believed to have test-launched the missile in August 1998. Launch shocked the world because it was well beyond North Korea's known capability at the time. Both lower stages are liquid-fueled, with a potential solid-fuel third stage. Payload is thought to be about 1,100 pounds (500 kilograms). Accuracy is believed poor, with no meaningful strike capability.

NEW MISSILE: North Korea has fielded a new intermediate range ballistic missile, according to South Korea's Defense Ministry. With a range of 1,800 miles (3,000 kilometers), it would almost reach Guam. Much of China and parts of Russia and the Philippines are also within striking range. North Korea reportedly used Russian SS-N-6 submarine-launched ballistic missile technology for the mobile, land-based missile. It reportedly is liquid-fueled with one or two stages. Some reports say North Korea put the new missile on display during a 2007 military parade. Accuracy is unknown.

RODONG: Japan is the likely target of this short-range missile. Rodong is almost identical to Iran's Shahab-3 and Pakistan's Ghauri II (Hatf V), the strongest evidence of the countries' collaboration and of North Korean sale of technology and missile equipment to others. All three countries continue to refine the design. Estimated range of 620 to 930 miles (1,000 to 1,500 kilometers) and maximum payload of 2,200 pounds (1,000 kilograms). They are single-stage, liquid-fuel missiles on mobile launchers. Most have fairly poor accuracy, though some may have been fitted with warhead separation and more modern guidance systems.

SCUD: Single stage, liquid-fueled missile with a range of up to 500 miles (800 kilometers). Known in North Korea by the name Hwasong, the SCUD B and SCUD C can reach only South Korea, but the SCUD D could target Japan. Accuracy is extremely poor. Ballistic missile programs in Pakistan and Iran were built on SCUD technology.

STAND-UP AMERICA BEFORE WE SEE THIS!!!!!!!

Try driving in the city of circles (cul-de-sacs), Overland Park, Kansas and enter a large neighborhood that you are unfamiliar with, I guarantee that you will encounter a no-outlet sign or a dead end sign.  All men hate that feeling, I just went down this road and it is a dead end, now I have to turn around and I am not asking anyone for directions.  Yea, you know what I am talking about, well, America is now being driven by the Democrats and Obama, they even have a filibuster proof majority in the Senate.  The Democrats not only have the wheel, they own the car and General Motors to boot and they are driving the USA down a dead end that will ultimately end America and freedom as our founders established.  The "Cap & Tax" bill if approved by the Senate will destroy the USA, Obama's Health Care will destroy the world's premiere health system, and the endless printing of dollars is destroying our currency and our place in the world's economy.   America if this is the CHANGE you voted for, then Americans are not very intelligent and it is an indication our educational system has already reached the end of the road.  

I stand with Mitt Romney, it is time to stand-up and be conservatives, and that means REPUBLICANS need to turn to the hard right and quit acting like democrats (THE PARTY OF DEAD ENDS).

Two-Hundred prominent Gay & Lesbian leaders partied at the White House with Obama today, ABC news reported that Abba's, "Dancing Queen filled the East Room of the White House as Michelle and Barack Hussein Obama entered the room to thunderous applause from the invitees of the first White House Gay Pride Party.  

President Obama told the group he is committed to equality for their community.

"This struggle continues today, for even as we face extraordinary challenges as a nation, we cannot and will not put aside issues of basic equality," he said, "We seek an America in which no one feels the pain of discrimination based on who you are or who you love."

Many gay and lesbians believe the President has been slow to act on major issues like the military's Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy, and the Defense of Marriage Act. The President asked the group to focus on what has been accomplished so far.

"I know that many in this room don't believe that progress has come fast enough, and I understand that," he said, "But I say this:  We have made progress.  And we will make more."

President Obama continued, "there are unjust laws to overturn and unfair practices to stop, among those the 'Defense of Marriage Act."

He ended his speech with a promise to champion their cause in the days to come.

"I want you to know that, in this task, I will not only be your friend; I will continue to be an ally and a champion and a president who fights with you and for you."

On a side note, when White House Press Secretary was asked about the events at an earlier Press Conference, Mr. Gibbs looked uncomfortable talking about the first ever White House Gay Pride event, come on Gibbs, get on board.

THE FLEECING OF AMERICA: CAP & TAX PASSES THE HOUSE 219-212

The House of Representatives continued to legislate CHANGE that will be  "the biggest job killing bill that’s ever been on the floor of the House of Representatives. Right here, this bill,” said House Minority Leader John Boehner. “And I don’t think that’s what the American people want.”

Donning reading glasses, Boehner then delayed the roll call vote by reading page-by-page through a 300-page managers’ amendment Democrats added at around 3 a.m. on Friday. Boehner seemed to relish the hour-long stunt, picking out the bill’s most obscure language and then pontificating about what it might – or might not – mean. Republicans laughed along with him and roared with applause when he was done.  "The bill of the century" remains unread, but the end result according to Warren Buffet, will be a regressive tax that all public utilities will pass onto consumers.  As recently acknowledged by a top White House official, a global warming tax could generate as much as $1.9 trillion in tax revenue over eight years, which amounts to a nearly $2,000 tax every year for every American household.  Here is a list of the 8 Republicans who voted for the tax:

Don't cry for me Argentina, There are Moral Absolutes & CONSEQUENCES: GOV. SANFORD v. KING DAVID

THE SCARLET LETTER:  THE CONSEQUENCES OF SIN & SPECIFICALLY ADULTERY

King David v. Mark Sanford 

Round two, another hidden sin that comes to light in the Republican party,  last week it was Republican Senator from Nevada, John Ensign, today, "Where is Mark Sanford?" the Republican Governor from South Carolina, who likes to hike the appalachian trail in ARGENTINA (somebody inform the U.S. Park Service that the trail extends all the way to Argentina, Please), confessed to an extra-marital affair to a close dear Argentinian friend. 

The Party of Values is being exposed at an alarming rate and is not beneficial for upcoming bids to take back gains from the Democrats.  Enough of future election damage, now to the focus of my post, the consequences of sin.  Mark Sanford, in his mea culpa press conference today said something interesting concerning sin and God's moral law:

It's not a moral, rigid list of do's and don'ts just for the heck of do's and don'ts; it is indeed to protect us from ourselves ...

Sin is, in fact, grounded in this notion of 'what is it that I want' as opposed to somebody else ...

There are moral absolutes, and God's law is indeed there to protect you from yourself, and there are consequences if you breach that. This press conference is a consequence.

I agree with Mark Sanford, that there are moral absolutes, and God's law is indeed in place to

 protect you, and if you violate God's law you suffer the consequences.  But what are the

 consequences that Mr. Sanford will suffer, just a press conference where the sin comes to light 

or is there more to come?  I believe more is to come and may not be known for sometime, you see 

Mr. Sanford lacks a prophet of God as King David had to tell him the consequences.  The prophet 

was Nathan.  

King David, like Governor Sanford, was not doing his job as a king, or in other words, King David 

was hiking the Appalachian Trail when he should of been at war with his troops.  The boredom 

brought about the sin, then the cover-up (I am sure Mr. Sanford has been covering his tracks 

even though we do not know the full extent at this time), and the sin comes to light just as Mr. 

Sanford's sin came to light today.

David's scarlet letter came to light through the prophet Nathan in 2 Samuel 12:

12:1 Then the LORD sent Nathan to David. And he came to him and said, "There were two men in one city, the one rich and the other poor.

2 "The rich man had a great many flocks and herds.

3 "But the poor man had nothing except one little ewe lamb Which he bought and nourished; And it grew up together with him and his children. It would eat of his bread and drink of his cup and lie in his bosom, And was like a daughter to him.

4 "Now a traveler came to the rich man, And he was unwilling to take from his own flock or his own herd, To prepare for the wayfarer who had come to him; Rather he took the poor man's ewe lamb and prepared it for the man who had come to him."

5 Then David's anger burned greatly against the man, and he said to Nathan, "As the LORD lives, surely the man who has done this deserves to die.

6 "He must make restitution for the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing and had no compassion."

7 Nathan then said to David, "You are the man! Thus says the LORD God of Israel, 'It is I who anointed you king over Israel and it is I who delivered you from the hand of Saul.

8 'I also gave you your master's house and your master's wives into your care, and I gave you the house of Israel and Judah; and if that had been too little, I would have added to you many more things like these!

9 'Why have you despised the word of the LORD by doing evil in His sight? You have struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword, have taken his wife to be your wife, and have killed him with the sword of the sons of Ammon.

Nathan exposed King David's sin, but he does not stop there, he forges ahead and tells the King the consequences of his sin:

10 'Now therefore, the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised Me and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.'

11 "Thus says the LORD, 'Behold, I will raise up evil against you from your own household; I will even take your wives before your eyes and give them to your companion, and he will lie with your wives in broad daylight.

12 'Indeed you did it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel, and under the sun.'"

2 Samuel 12:14 "However, because by this deed you have given occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born to you shall surely die."

What were King David's consequences?

1. Family Torn Apart BY THE SWORD;

2. Evil against your Family, your wives taken and defiled;

3. The consequences shall be public to the nation;

4. The child conceived by the sin will die.

I do not see the press conference as a consequence to Mark Sanford's sin, I see that as exposing the sin, I believe God sees it that way also.  So if the press conference is not (the) (or) a consequence of Mr. Sanford's sin, then what is?   

At this point I can only speculate, but relationships have been torn between Mr. Sanford and God, Mr. Sanford and his wife, Mr. Sanford and his family, and Mr. Sanford and South Carolina.  From those torn relationships will come consequences that will be public for the nation to see, but hopefully, from the humility, forgiveness, and consequences, Mr. Sanford will be restored just as King David was restored.  Remember, "All have sinned and have come short of the glory of God."
